Change in Reference Hours

Seasons are slowly changing but the biggest change at the library for this fall are our reference hours. J-Term in the Library

Stop by and enjoy some downtime building puzzles!  The first one has been completed……and the second is on the table ready to start!  This is our way to provide Gustavus students to spend time outside school/work projects to build something together…..next puzzle name “Sacred Spaces”.

Access from Off-Campus

Make sure your record is active by using “My Library Account” from the library website. If you are unable to gain access you will need your patron record updated. Email library@gustavus.edu. We will be able to assist you if you find yourself itching to do research while on break! Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Halloween 2012

The library student organization is hosting a costume contest which ends today! Stop by with your costume, allow us to take a picture, and win something cool! Enjoy beautiful fall day and read up on the history of Halloween!

VERY EXCITING NEWS!!!!!! Water bottle filling stations have been installed on each floor of the library. Located near the restrooms on each floor. There are still water fountains that work and are located also on all 3 floors on the south end of the building!!!

The Other Wes Moore: One Name, Two Fates

The reading in common book is taking an exceptional upswing in notoriety as the author, Wes Moore, will be on campus on Sept. 11, 2012. The Kendall Center has kindly donated two extra copies for campus and these can be borrowed from the library reserve shelves for 30 days.

Time for Tea
